Mysterious Case of the Missing Mustang

Imagine you finally land your dream car, a 1966 Mustang convertible listed on eBay.  You put countless hours and $60,000 of work into its restoration.  Then the cops show up at your doorstep giving you the dreadful news that your dream car had been stolen and you may have to give it back.  That’s what happened to a Holliston, Mass. man when an elderly woman went to see the car she put in storage nearly 20 years before only to discover it was gone.  The details on how the car was sold without the original owner’s knowledge or consent remains unclear; however, Det. Owens of the Lancaster County Auto Theft Task Force filed a single charge against the owner of a salvage yard in Christiana alleging that the owner sold the car to a gentleman who then sold it on eBay.  It will be interesting to see how this case unfolds as the investigation continues.
