Man 'Meats' Cops With Stolen Food

The Delco Times reported that a butcher for the Swarthmore Co-op was arrested for driving a stolen vehicle.  That was bad enough, but when police pulled him over, they also discovered a truck full of stolen meet and cheese on ice.

The suspect was charged with first and second-degree theft by receiving stolen property, driving while operating privelege is suspended or revoked and was released on bail.

ATPA grantees, Detectives from the Delaware County District Attorney's Office, made the arrest and reported that the stolen meet and cheese products were valued around $440.
